MODE

Transportation system
Project Overview
Building on the insights from the SMRT audit, the MODE project is a forward-looking solution that redefines mobility. MODE envisions a seamless, intelligent, and sustainable Mobility-as-a-Service platform. It aims to unify micro-mobility, public transit, and long-distance travel into one ecosystem, where users access all modes through a presence-based identity. No logins, no friction. By layering AI optimization, sustainability features, and trustworthy data practices, MODE is designed to make travel effortless and eco-responsible. As it evolves, MODE will expand from multimodal access to a fully integrated mobility operator, leading a future where every journey is intuitive, inclusive, and connected.
My Contributions
In the MODE project, I played a pivotal role as both a communicator and visual strategist. I led the presentation of our concept, ensuring that MODE’s vision was clearly conveyed. Alongside the team, I crafted the visual communication, including perceptual mapping, data visualization, and brand identity. My contributions ensured that the concept was not only strategically sound but also visually engaging and cohesive, helping to bring the future of mobility to life.

MODE is a foresight-driven Mobility-as-a-Service concept grounded in deep service analysis informed by an audit of SMRT Corporation. The project translates emerging signals and disruptive technologies into strategic design opportunities—integrating mobility systems in ways that respond not only to future behaviors, but to the intrinsic motivations that drive them. By aligning emerging technologies with organizational goals, platform economics, and human desire for ease, agency, and continuity, MODE reflects an undeniable ability to shape future-facing services that extend business models while remaining deeply human-centered.
